Growing & Maintenance Tips
Plant in the border, native plant garden, naturalized area, prairie or wildflower meadow. If used in borders, be prepared to remove unwanted seedlings. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage. Prompt deadheading of spent flowers encourages additional bloom and prevents unwanted seedlings. Can naturalize to form large colonies. May be selectively thinned to improve appearance by removing clumps from the interior of the planting. Mulching helps conserve moisture and control weeds.
