Pale Purple Coneflower (Echinacea pallida) has tall bare stems that are topped by lavender pink flowers with cone-shaped brown seed heads June-July. Good fresh cut flower or dried flower.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Grow in full sun in well-drained soil. Tolerates very dry soil. Plant in the border, native plant garden, naturalized area, prairie or wildflower meadow. Combine with Glade, Purple and Yellow Coneflower for nice effect.
Interesting Notes
Songbirds eat the seed if old flower heads are not removed. Genus name, 'Echinacea' comes from the Greek word "echinos" meaning hedgehog in reference to the spiny center cone.
