Emerald III is a mix of 3 varieties of premium fine leaved tall fescue varieties. The combination of modern genetic fescue varieties produces finer leaves than older varieties of tall fescue such as KY-31. Tall fescue, the most heat tolerant of the cool season turf species, is the most widely used cool season turf grass south of 40 degrees latitude (Kan-Neb border). Disease resistant and deep rooted. Emerald III provides a denser turf, finer leaf width and more attractive turf than do older varieties of tall fescue.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Plant Seed 1/4 to 3/8 inch deep into a firm seed bed, using starter fertilizer to enhance seedling development.
Suggested planting rate: 8 to 12 lbs per 1,000 square feet.
